To report the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Morbidity including Multimorbidity within the population.
- The appropriate management of long-term conditions is a key challenge for health systems everywhere in the world. The entire city needs to focus on prevention, early identification and a person-centred approach to supporting people with multimorbidity, done primarily in the community. The long-term ambition for Liverpool is a radical programme to delay and prevent multimorbidity, as well as ameliorating its effects. This means a city-wide life course focus on healthy ageing (which does not start at 65 years, but actually before birth) aimed at reducing the number of healthy life years lost to multimorbidity.

The Liverpool Marmot Partnership group was also established in 2022, which involves teams across Liverpool City Council including planning, as well as partners across Liverpool, including housing associations and the business community.
